I am nature lover. And I prefer to travel alone rather with friend, but I never been out of the valley because I
never got a chance to go out far from valley .This time am really revitalized by this SWO YATRA got
selected I can counsel easily with my parents and this will be my first travel if I could chosen in top 10 with
in many participator .MY itinerary begin as :
DAY 1:Kathmandu to Pokhara(850,200km/6hour drive)
An early morning drive to Pokhara,the beautiful lake city and catch a great views of
Himalayas.Free afternoon walk on lakeside and enjoy overnight stay at hotel
DAY 2:POKHARA TO TIKHEDHUNGA(18000m,4hrs)
Drive to Nayapul from Pokhara (1.5hrs).The road snacs through the scenery and trek to
Thikedunga from Naypul for 4hrs in peace and clean environment Modi river draining Annapurna Base
Camp and Burungdi river. Thikedunga is a small charming village full of lodge where I can stay night.
DAY 3: Treak to Ghorepani (6hrs/2,800m0)
After breakfast the day begain walk with steep climb to Ulleri village with about 3,000
stone steps to Ulleri- 2hrs to climb. From Ulleri the trail climbs gradully through the forest for anoyher 4hrs
to Gorepani at 2,800m Ghorepani is the mountain pass overlooking at the deep Kali Gandaki valley wedget
between two eight thousand meter peak of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna.
DAY 4: Hike to Poon Hill( 950mints/3,200m)/Treak to Tatopani
Wake uo early morning hike about 50mints to Poon Hill at 3,200m for sunrise view over
Himalayan peaks. Different himalayan view from there and after breakfast next destination of Tatopani with
few ups and downs of 400m each.
DAY 5: Trek to chhomrong (5hrs/2100m)
Tatopani is beautiful upclose view of Annapurna south (7,219m) and Fishtail mountain
(6,893m).From climb down steeply about 900m to the valley basin at Ghurjung river to Chhomrong
perched high up on the mountain ridge. Chhomrong found to be large Gurung community at the corridore
of Annapurna Sanctuary.
DAY 6: Treak to Dovan (2,400/6hrs)
Treak down Chhomrong river and then climb up to Sinwa in about 3hrs. From Sinwa again
climb down to Modi river at the little hemlet.of BAMBOO with in 2hrs and then climb gradually for another
hour to Dovan (2,400m).
DAY 7: Climb to Deurali (5hrs/3,300m)
About Dovan treak enter into the region where effect of high altitude effects are felt.So with
slow pace gradually clime to another hamlet of Himalayan in 2hrs . Himalayan has got two lodges.After
Himalayan (2,900m)entre into sparsely vegetated rocky terrain and climb steeply for 1hrs to Hink cave
.After one and half hour reach to Deurali.
DAY 8: Treak to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) 5hrs/4,200m towards my main destination.
Found that trail from Deurali to fishtail base camp is dangerous area so, can choose
another side of Modi river accordind to the situtation.It will take about 3hrs to get to Fishtail base camp
valley open up wide and bright with beautiful snow peaks.
DAY 9:Treak down to Bamboo 6hrs.
After a beautiful sunrise view over the Annapurna move down slowly to Bamboo. First part
of the trail might be steep and slippery after Bambooo it Sinuwa.
Day 10; Treak back to Jhinu Danda (5hrs/1,600m)
Following the same trail that took to climb up till Chhomrong.Climb down steely on the
stone steps to the village of Jhinu. which will last night in the mountain area for this trip.
DAY 11; Jhinu to Pokhara
Following the Medi river coast reach to Nayapul in 5hours then we can easily get taxi ro local
bus direct to pokhara.
DAY 12: After breakfast catch the bus direct to the Kathmandu.
